The short answer is no. While both systems offer premium, reliable industrial solutions, our aluminum extrusions and hardware are engineered to a completely different standardized system and are strictly incompatible with Misumi systems.

The Root Cause: Standardized Design Philosophies

The structural aluminum extrusion world is divided into several major standard ecosystems (such as MayTec compatibility, Bosch Rexroth standards, and Misumi proprietary standards).

Our products are engineered to deliver a perfect, seamless match for MayTec-compatible systems. Misumi, on the other hand, operates on its own distinct, highly proprietary dimensioning and metric specifications. Because the two systems originate from entirely different design philosophies, mixing and matching them will result in structural misalignment and loose connections.

The T-slot (or groove) is the most critical factor for hardware compatibility. Our profiles are optimized for standard MayTec-compatible dimensions, featuring specific groove widths (such as standard 8mm or 10mm slots) with a distinct shoulder depth and angled inner pocket designed to lock heavy-duty fasteners securely in place. Misumi utilizes proprietary slot geometries (such as their 5-Series, 6-Series, and 8-Series). The precise opening width, lip thickness, and internal pocket dimensions of a Misumi slot differ from our standards, meaning our T-nuts, slot nuts, and roll-in nuts will either not fit at all or fail to slide smoothly.

2. Center Hole Diameters and Tap Sizes

For end-to-end connections or blind joints, the center core of the extrusion must be tapped to accept a screw or structural anchor. Our center bores are calibrated specifically to standard metric tapping dimensions tailored for heavy industrial loading. Misumi uses slightly different internal core wall thicknesses and center hole diameters across their series. Attempting to use Misumi standard brackets or direct-connection bolts with our profiles will often lead to stripped threads, misaligned bolt holes, or insecure joints.

3. Metric Base Modulus and Pitch

While both systems use metric measurements, the scaling logic (the “pitch”) differs between the series. Our modular assembly supermarket relies on standardized metric increments that align flawlessly with MayTec-compatible brackets, panel structures, and linear guides. Misumi’s exact center-to-center distances on multi-slot profiles often differ by a fraction of a millimeter, preventing cross-brand brackets from seating flush.
